The Sweet Remains bring their three-part harmonies to ECC Jan. 18

The Club season at Elgin Community College continues with The Sweet Remains at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at SecondSpace Theatre, Building H, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin. Tickets are $29.

This acoustic trio blends modern folk-rock in the vein of Jason Mraz and Ray Lamontagne with lush three-part harmonies that hearken back to 1960s and '70s supergroups such as Crosby, Stills & Nash; the Eagles; and Simon & Garfunkel.

Celebrating 10 years as a band and over 35 million Spotify plays in 2019, The Sweet Remains is led by gifted singer-songwriters Rich Price, Greg Naughton, and Brian Chartrand.

For tickets, call (847) 622-0300 or visit tickets.elgin.edu.

The next program in The Club series will be "A 3-Slice Night of Plays" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 6.

New York Writers Dojo, a dynamic incubator for emerging writers, presents a fascinating look into creating new work. The first act will feature scenes from two new plays in development. During the second act, longtime friend of the Arts Center Chris Snock will premiere his latest play. Tickets are $20.
