Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital welcomes first baby of 2020

Sana (mom) and Imran (dad) Akhtar welcomed their second child, Simrah Akhtar, at 5:24 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

Simrah weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces and is 18.5 inches long. The couple lives in Oak Brook with their other daughter, Amirah, who was also born at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove a year and a week before her younger sister.
