The Metropolis Performing Arts Centre kicks off 2020 with back-to-back comedy shows. Mike Toomey returns to the theater with his solo show, "TV & Me," a nostalgic look at how television shaped his life. Comedian Andy Woodhull, who's appeared on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" and "The Tonight Show," performs "An Evening With Andy Woodhull and Friends."

Midwest premiere

Strawdog Theatre Company presents the Midwest premiere of "Thirst," C.A. Johnson's post-apocalyptic drama about two women and their son who survive a war and a subsequent water shortage then find themselves in conflict with a local politician. Andrea J. Dymond directs.
