Marmion Academy senior awarded STEM Scholarship by Alliantgroup LP

Marmion senior Patrick Donahoe, son of Patrick and Jessica Donahoe of Batavia, was selected as one of fourteen students awarded the Blue Heart Fund STEM scholarship by the Alliantgroup, LP.

The Blue Heart Fund STEM Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship awarded to high achieving high school student who wishes to pursue a degree at a STEM university.

This scholarship, which can be directed to the college or university of his choice, was presented to Patrick at their corporate headquarters at a ceremony in Houston, Texas, on Nov. 6, 2019.

The award presentation was made before an audience of various current and former United States Congressmen and business executives from numerous corporations throughout the United States.

The Blue Heart Fund STEM Scholarship Program is a competitive program with 3,000 nationwide applicants.

It is based upon a professional recommendation and distinguished academic achievement, leadership characteristics, and future aspirations in pursuit of a degree in a STEM related field.
