No injuries in Mount Prospect house fire

Firefighters and paramedics quickly extinguished a two-story house fire in Mount Prospect Sunday night in the 300 block of South George Street.

The fire, which was first reported at 7:59 p.m. drew eight emergency response vehicles from the Mount Prospect, Des Plaines and Prospect Heights fire departments. Firefighters arrived on the scene with all residents and pets removed from the premises.

The fire was out by 8:13 p.m, and the extent of damage is not yet known.
