Mount Prospect names decorating contest winners

The Mount Prospect Special Events Commission has announced the 2019 Holiday Decorating Contest winners:

• Best Use of Lights: 411 Larkdale Lane

• Simple But Elegant: 303 Autumn Lane

• Best Business: Millie's Hallmark, Golf Plaza II, 1024 S. Elmhurst Road

• Christmas Fantasy: 724 Crestwood Lane

• Best Block: Eric Avenue and Cardinal Lane

• Grand Prize: 710 W. Busse Ave.

Holiday Decorating Contest winners are chosen by a team of Special Events Commission members who travel throughout the village looking for those special decorations. All residents and businesses have to do is have their lights on and they will be considered.
