The skinny: Winnipeg is 4-3-1 over its last eight games, with 2 of those losses coming to Detroit (9-24-3) and Los Angeles (15-18-3). ... The Jets are led by Mark Scheifele (16G, 20A), Kyle Connor (14G, 17A), Nikolaj Ehlers (14G, 12A) and Patrik Laine (11G, 21A). Scheifele has 7 goals and 5 assists in the last seven games. ... Andrew Copp (5G, 9A) was put on IR after suffering an upper-body injury against Carolina on Tuesday. ... Winnipeg is 4-for-7 on the power play the last two games but just 2-for-7 on the penalty kill in the last three. The Jets' PK ranks 30th at 73.4 percent. ... The Jets beat the Hawks 3-2 in overtime at the United Center on Oct. 12 when Scheifele scored 47 seconds into extra time.
