Lisle man charged with burglary in Naperville

A 23-year-old Lisle man, Matt Karl, has been charged with burglary in connection with a break-in at a Naperville business.

Naperville police said they responded at 9:43 a.m. Dec. 14 to a report of an overnight burglary at Malloy's Finest Wine and Spirits, 1175 E. Ogden Ave. They said the intruder broke a window to gain entry and stole cigarettes and liquor.

Through video evidence obtained at the business and further investigation, officers identified Karl as a suspect and took him into custody without incident Monday in Naperville, authorities said.
