Schaumburg Park District announces holiday hours

Keep your fitness goals on track during the holidays with the help of Schaumburg Park District's special holiday hours at its facilities.

The Community Recreation Center and The Water Works, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, are open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with limited hours. Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way, and Schaumburg Tennis Plus, 1416 N. Payne Road, are open Christmas Eve with limited hours and closed Christmas Day.

Schaumburg Park District offers special holiday hours at its facilities.

Holiday hours include:

• The Water Works Open Swim: Noon-4 p.m. Dec. 31.

• Adult Lap Swim: 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 24; 6-11 a.m. Dec. 25; 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 1.

• CRC Fitness Center: 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Dec. 24; 6 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Dec. 25; 5 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Dec. 31; 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Jan. 1.

• MRC Fitness Center: 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Dec. 24; closed Dec. 25; 5:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Dec. 31; 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Jan. 1.

• STP Fitness Center: 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Dec. 24; closed Dec. 25; 6 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Dec. 31; 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Jan. 1.

• Spring Valley Grounds and Trails: Open daily from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

• Spring Valley Heritage Farm: Site and buildings closed for the season.

• Spring Valley Nature Center: Open daily from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
