Coffee with a Cop at the Wauconda McDonald's

Wauconda, IL.- More than 75 free coffees were distributed to attendees of the WaucondaMcDonald's Coffee with A Cop event on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Owned and operated by Nondas Plesiotis the Wauconda McDonald's located at 511 W. LibertySt. is honored to take part in community-building events like this, especially as they engage the local police force. Coffees were not the only freebie at this event, as smiles abound amidst the cool winter air outside. McDonald'sOwner and Operator Nondas Plesiotis was thrilled with the morning's event."We are proud of the role we have maintained in Wauconda over the years, and we are happy to see the community and the local police department enjoying coffee together. It's just how winter should be." Police chief David Wermes, Officer Bognar, Deputy Chief Mike Botterman, Officer Nardulli, DetectiveKolar, PIO Heather Cognac, Detective Sergeant Combs, and Sergeant Burke all attended the event. Local law enforcement and community members were happy to enjoy conversations together. NondasPlesiotis would like to thank School Resident Officer and PIO Heather Cognac, who contributed to the coordination of the Coffee with A Cop event. Nondaswould also like to thank all of the officers who came to the event, helped serve coffee, took pictures with the community members, and met many great members of the community.
