Tensor adds new folders to New Guinea newspaper press
WOODRIDGE - Tensor International, in cooperation with Simon Munday at National Printing Equipment of Australia, has been awarded a contract to add a new H-50 folder with quarter folder to the Papua New Guinea Post-Courier's 18-unit T1400 press.
Tensor will be responsible for all reconfiguration in installation work.
Established in 1969, the Papua New Guinea Post-Courier is the largest newspaper in New Guinea, with a circulation of 41,000 copies, Owned by News Corp., it was the first daily national newspaper in New Guinea.
"The new H50 folder will be the main folder on this two folder press adding better performance and increased flexibility to their printing operations" added Mike Pavone, COO for Tensor International.
