Palatine Park District Fitness Center hosts Open House Dec. 14

Come see the Palatine Park District Fitness Center at a free Open House event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 14. The Community Fitness Center offers an affordable and convenient fitness option for all. Located on the second floor of the Community Center, 250 E. Wood St., patrons are invited to check out the state-of-the-art machines, elevated indoor walking track and interact with the staff.

New for 2020, the Palatine Park District is eager to offer a new membership pass option.

"We are very excited to be rolling out a new payment option for our members on Dec. 14. Members will now have the option of paying for their membership on a monthly basis. This is a great option for those that may be away for a few months out of the year," said Delaney Blauw, assistant facilities manager.

Those that take advantage of the new month-to-month rate, on Dec. 14, will receive their first month free and two free guest passes. If you purchase a 12-month membership, you'll receive two free group exercise passes, two Fitness Center Guest Passes and $14 off.

The Community Fitness Center offers a variety of amenities, including cardio and strength equipment, free weights, stretching and workout area, 14-lap mile indoor track, as well as balance, core, and plyometric equipment. A complete list of equipment available can be found at palatineparks.org under the Facilities tab on the Community Fitness Center page.
