Friendly Ford launches annual 'Fill a Ford' toy drive with Humanitarian Service Project

This holiday season, Friendly Ford of Roselle is excited to partner with Humanitarian Service Project to collect new, unwrapped toys for children in need as part of the dealership's "Fill a Ford" campaign.

Through Dec. 7, Friendly Ford, 333 E. Irving Park Road, is accepting donations from the community to help "Fill a Ford" with holiday gifts for children whose families might not otherwise have means to purchase presents.

Friendly Ford will also match all toy donations.

Humanitarian Service Project's mission is to alleviate the pain and suffering that poverty brings children in DuPage and Kane counties, without discrimination or exclusion. Every Christmas since 1979, they have provided Christmas presents to seniors, families and children living in poverty. Last year, they served 138 seniors and 1,849 children with more than 13,000 gifts.

"It is a true honor to be able to host another 'Fill a Ford' toy drive to help children in need, in our own local community, during the holiday season," said Jenny Yockey, business and community relations manager at Friendly Ford of Roselle. "This time of year is a time of giving and we couldn't think of a more deserving partner than the Humanitarian Service Project. They do tremendous work in Roselle and the surrounding area and as a local, family-owned business, we love being a part of making local children's Christmas mornings a little brighter."

Friendly Ford will be accepting donations in the showroom during business hours. No donation is too small, and 100% of toys collected at the dealership will directly support the Humanitarian Service Project network of families.
