Ingleside man charged in car burglaries

An Ingleside man was arrested after several auto burglaries in that area, Lake County sheriff's police announced Wednesday. Joseph J. Sempek, 31, of the 26600 block of Wildwood Avenue, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with four counts of burglary and four counts of criminal trespass to motor vehicle. The cars in question had been parked on several streets. Sempek was found in the area with stolen items, police said. He was taken to the Lake County jail and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 10.
