Volunteers needed for West Chicago's Seniors Leaf-raking Event Nov. 9

Many hands make for light (and quick) work. Volunteers are needed for the annual leaf-raking service project.

West Chicago's annual Seniors Leaf Raking Service Day will be 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 9.

Seniors and those unable to clean up their yards are very grateful for the support this program, sponsored by the West Chicago Police Department, brings them.

Can you help this year? Scout groups, service clubs, corporate and community volunteers are all needed. Please contact Officer Robyn Nielsen at rnielsen@westchicago.org.
