Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation collects over 600 winter items

The Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation's 2019 Coat Drive was a huge success!

These generous contributions will keep our neighbors warm during the upcoming winter months.

Some of the items will be distributed to CHIP-IN Batavia and the rest will be donated to Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry and Clothes Closet.

The following items were collected: 33 mn's coats, snowsuit, snow pants; 56 women's coats, snowsuits, and snow pants; 69 boy's coats, snowsuits, and snow pants; 83 girl's coats, snowsuits, and snow pants; 28 boots; 10 baby hat and sweater sets; 6 car seat blankets; 59 scarves; 190 hats; 69 gloves and mittens 69.

A total of 603 items!

The Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1934, dedicated to improving the quality of life for children in the Fox Valley area. Each year, the club donates $20,000-$50,000 to local charities, including the CHIP-IN Batavia and CASA Kane County, whose activities support this mission. The Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation is open to all mothers in the area who are interested in local philanthropic, service, and community activities.
