Ghoulishly Fun Halloween Party at Community Center This Saturday

Put on your favorite costume and bring your family to Palatine Park District's Halloween Party for ages 1-10 years. This annual event takes place Saturday, October 26, from 9:30am-12:00pm at the Community Center, located at 250 E. Wood Street in Palatine.

Discover the "Jack-o-Lantern Gym", featuring activities for the wee ones, challenging carnival games for school-age children, a creative craft room, a glow dance party room, and ghoulish goodies for the whole family.

This Halloween Party features more than tricks and treats, enjoy animal entertainment by JG's Reptile Road Show at 10:00am. JG's emphasis is on teaching about the environment and how reptiles do their part for the balance of nature. Their hands-on approach with the animals educates as well as entertains audiences. According to JG's Reptile Road Show, "These creatures are some of the most misunderstood and feared animals on earth." The show's goal is to share the love of all creatures and help audiences understand in a highly entertaining and often comical fashion.

Halloween Party registration is currently open. Fee is $7 for children 1-10 years and $1 for adults 18 and over. Parents are required to register and remain at the event to supervise their children. Online registration is available until 11:59pm on Friday, October 25. On the day of the event, registration will only be available in person at Community Center beginning at 8:30am. Children under 1 year are free, but must be registered to attend the event.
