Meet nominated Illinois human rights commissioner Saturday in Lincolnshire

Nominated Illinois Human Rights Commissioner Barbara Barreno-Paschall will be the special guest at 59th District state Rep. Dan Didech's "Donuts with Dan" event at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Vernon Area Public Library, 300 Olde Half Day Road, Lincolnshire.

Residents are invited to join Didech, of Buffalo Grove, and Barreno-Paschall for a complimentary cup of coffee and pastries, as well as an engaging discussion on the state and local issues important to them.

"These events are a great way for me to hear directly from the community on the issues that matter most to them," Didech said in an announcement of the event.
