Elburn Lions Club to host benefit for Todd Kuiper family Oct. 19

The Elburn Lions Club is hosting a benefit for the Todd Kuiper family from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the clubhouse, 500 Filmore St. Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Admission is $15 for age 13 or older, $10 for age 4 to 12. Live entertainment will be provided by Drift Away.

Todd Kuiper and his wife, Shanne, have been active in the community and spent the last eight years volunteering their time with the Kaneland Knights Sports Boosters. They have a passion for helping athletes have the best programs possible.

The Elburn Lions Club is hosting a fundraiser to help offset medical expenses and their loss of income while Todd battles stage 4 esophageal cancer.
