Sister Cities Exchange Program Seeks Schaumburg Hosts

The Sister Cities of Schaumburg invites residents to host a visitor from the Schaumburg-Lippe area of Germany this October.

This cultural exchange is an opportunity to showcase the village while learning about the area and culture of our village founders. Individuals who act as host families are then eligible to travel to Schaumburg, Germany, as part of a future exchange.

The group of visitors will be coming to Schaumburg from Oct. 16-26 and are fluent in and comfortable speaking English.

Hosts are asked to assist with preparing light breakfast daily and providing morning and evening transportation for their guest's activities. A full itinerary will be provided in advance. Hosts will also have the opportunity to attend a lunch and dinner hosted by the Sister Cities of Schaumburg.
