Fox Valley Orthopedics to host blood drive Oct. 2
Blood is one of the most precious gifts one individual can give another. Every two seconds someone needs blood in the United States, whether it be for an accident victim, cancer patient, surgery patient, or those affected by natural disasters.
There is currently an urgent need for donors.
To ensure the Fox Valley has an adequate blood supply, residents are invited to participate in Heartland's Mobile Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Fox Valley Orthopedics North Building, 2535 Soderquist Court, Geneva.
Registration is not required, but a non-expired photo ID will be needed at the time of the donation. Panera Bread is donating a healthy meal to all donors. Raffle entry for all who attempt to donate.
The blood drive is sponsored by Fox Valley Orthopedics and ATI Physical Therapy. For more information, or to register, visit fvortho.com/heartland-blood-drive-match/.
