Kane County System of Care seeks input on mental health issues

The Kane County System of Care is collecting data from youth, parents and mental health professionals to guide local change to improve mental health services.

They need your input and opinions to help with this.

In addition to your opinions, they also will collect some personal information about you such as your name and email address to be able to contact you for follow-up if needed.

Any information you share will be stored in a confidential database compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), which protects patient privacy. Any information used to improve our mental health system will be de-identified to protect your privacy. Your contact information will not be shared with any third parties.

If you are a parent/caregiver with a child who has mental health concerns or a professional working with children, youth and families, the Kane County System of Care wants to hear from you.

If you choose to provide ongoing feedback, for every three surveys that you complete, you will receive a $25 Amazon e-gift card. This offer is valid while supplies last. The Kane County System of Care is a coordinated network of community providers and parents that is led by the Kane County Health Department. Its goal is to improve mental health outcomes for children and families.

The System of Care approach combines a broad array of individualized services that are community based, family driven, youth guided, culturally and linguistically competent and data informed.
