South Elgin man sentenced for computer tampering

A South Elgin man, Mark Luis, was sentenced Friday to two years of court supervision and 20 days in the DuPage County sheriff's Work Alternative Program for his conviction on a charge of tampering with a computer.

Luis was accused of accessing a patient's smartphone while at work at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield and sending himself her sexually explicit photos and videos without her permission.
