PC culture is what's really extreme

In response to Jerry Freda's letter to the editor in the Daily Herald Sept. 4. Jeanne Ives, extreme? Oh, really? What really is extreme is the PC culture. It seems as if there are PC masters and whenever one of them pulls a new PC string, those beholden to the PC culture jump to align themselves. It would be hysterically funny if it weren't so sad.

Jeanne Ives is not beholden to the PC culture or any PC masters there may be. Her loyalty is to the people of Illinois, the people of the 6th District, to children, to working people, to retired people. Her loyalty is to those working hard for their families, their homes and for the good of the community.
