Sevan Charitable Foundation to host golf outing fundraiser

The Sevan Charitable Foundation's second annual Golf Classic will raise money for a variety of charities when it tees off Friday, Sept. 13, at Cantigny Golf in Wheaton.

Sevan is a leader in delivering innovative design, program management, surveys and construction and data analytics services to organizations with multiple sites.

Its golf tournament will benefit groups such as Diveheart, Fisher House Foundation, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.

Participants can start the day with a Chick-fil-A breakfast and Warrior Vodka Bloody Mary, then a round of golf with Longest Drive, Golf Ball Cannon and Dice Game competitions. A reception and awards ceremony will follow.

More than 130 golfers and 40 volunteers are expected to participate. To date, $105,000 has been raised for the charities.

Sevan helps global brands roll out multisite initiatives.

One major client is McDonald's, where Sevan remodeled more than 2,000 sites in 2018, including the iconic Rock-N-Roll McDonald's at 600 N. Clark St., and project managed the new worldwide headquarters in Chicago's West Loop.

Other clients include Walmart, Walgreens, Starbucks, BP, Kroger, HCA, 7-Eleven, Chipotle, Sunoco, Jiffy Lube, DaVita and Albertsons.
