Centro de Información will host its annual benefit gala and auction from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Villa Olivia in Bartlett.
Tickets, sponsorship information, and raffle tickets are now available at centro19.givesmart.com.
This year's event, with the theme, "Many Peoples, One Nation Celebration," will celebrate the beauty of diversity and togetherness found in true community.
It will be a festive evening of delicious food, live music, cash prize drawings, and live and silent auctions.
With help from hundreds of guests, sponsors, and donors, Centro hopes to meet its goal of raising $140,000 to support its vital work.
In 2018, Centro's dedicated staff served more than 11,000 clients across three locations. It has been identified as a "first stop" on the journey to American citizenship and is pleased to offer a host of other services including: citizenship workshops, immigration services, parenting classes, translation assistance, an emergency food pantry, job fairs, health screenings, and weekly educational seminars.
These are only a few examples of the many ways in which Centro supports immigrant and Hispanic neighbors.
