Induo Events hosts 'Girlfriends Day Out' at Promenade Bolingbrook

Women of all ages came together on Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Promenade Bolingbrook, to enjoy and participate in a fun and eventful outdoor expo titled, "Girlfriends Day Out."

The expo was organized by Induo Events, an event company based in Westchester, Ill.

Induo has been creating experiences that are valuable and memorable to women in the greater Chicago area for over three years. They have been very successful in producing eight annual events that meet the needs of their target audience, women between the ages of 30-50.

Their women-centered events are focused around the topics of friendship, health, beauty and family. "Girlfriends Day Out" is one of Induo's most popular events.

"Girlfriends Day Out," which was held outside on a beautiful day, is in its second year and drew over 200 women from various suburbs of Chicago. The event had a price range from being free to $19 for VIP.

Attendees had the option to paint with their girlfriends, participate in an interactive scavenger hunt, shop from local small businesses and enjoy gourmet cotton candy.

"Our goal at Induo and with our Girlfriends Day Out Expo is to give women and their girlfriends the opportunity to hang out and have some fun in a friendly and enjoyable environment," said Ina Jones, co-founder at Induo Events. "Every woman deserves to have a little girlfriend time."

"Today was a wonderful day at Induo's second annual Girlfriend's Day Out Expo! The temperature was just right for this outside event. Great energy as always from Ina and Lena, co-owners/creators of Induo Events, their support team, all of the vendors and the female attendees," said Monica Norwood, an attendee at the event. "The best part? The events are free. You do have the option to pay for VIP tickets, which I love because these sisters go out of their way to make it a great experience with fun & wonderful perks! All samples of food were delicious, and vendors had plenty of merchandise to choose from. Also, there were wine glasses, goblets, bottles and canvas bags that were available to paint our own creations on! Can't wait for the next fun event!"
