Mount Prospect Sister Cities Commission to host Marché Français

The Village of Mount Prospect's Sister City Commission will host the Marché Français, a farmer's market with a French Twist, on Sunday, September 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held on Prospect Avenue east of Emerson Street in downtown Mount Prospect. The location is just south of the Mount Prospect Farmers Market held concurrently in the East Commuter lot.

French-inspired vendors will offer French linens, jewelry, photography, children's books, one-of-a-kind finds and more. Additionally, the Mount Prospect Public Library will host a special story time at 10 a.m.

Marché Français is sponsored by the Mount Prospect Sister Cities Commission as a celebration of Mount Prospect's relationship with their Sister City - Sèvres, France - and to promote French culture in our community. More information about the event is available at mountprospectsistercities.com.
