Three face firearm charges in Lisle
Three Lisle residents face weapons-related charges after being arrested earlier this month as part of a joint operation involving village police, with assistance from the DuPage Metro SWAT team and the U.S. Marshal's Service, authorities said Monday.
Police said they executed a search warrant on Aug. 16 at a residence on the 2000 block of Ogden Avenue and recovered two loaded semi-automatic handguns.
As a result of the search warrant, Deshun Owens was charged for his involvement in the December 2018 armed robbery of a Shell station at 2001 Ogden Ave., authorities said. In that case, police said, Owens stole cash and threatened the clerk with a weapon.
The three facing charges, all of the same address, are:
• Owens, 23, charged with armed robbery with a firearm and possession of a firearm despite a prior conviction.
• Deana Nolan, 24, charged with possession of a firearm despite a prior conviction, unlawful possession of a credit card, criminal trespass to vehicles and theft of stolen property not exceeding $500.
• Tyrone Pittman, 24, charged with possession of a firearm despite a previous conviction.
All three were taken to the DuPage County jail, where they remain in custody.
