Monarchs, milkweed and migration event Sunday at Ryerson Woods

Monarch butterflies across the Midwest will soon begin their migration south, and you can learn more about their life cycles, the importance of milkweed plants and what you can do to help during a free event Sunday, at the Ryerson Woods Welcome Center in Riverwoods.

The event is set for 1 to 4 p.m. at the center, 21950 N. Riverwoods Road. All ages are welcome. Registration is not necessary but adult supervision is required.
