16th annual Golf for a Child Invitational to benefit kids in need
CASA Kane County's 16th annual Golf for a Child Invitational will be held on Monday, Aug. 26, at the Royal Fox and St. Charles Country Clubs.
The annual event attracts nearly 300 golfers throughout the Chicago area to raise needed funding for the court appointed special advocate organization in Kane County that serves over 500 children each year.
CASA Kane County is proud to honor Mike West, vice president of sales for the food, specialty and club businesses at The Hershey Company, as the honorary chairman of this year's Golf for a Child Invitational! His ongoing support over the years has benefited thousands of youth in care during a tumultuous time in their lives.

For over 30 years, CASA Kane County has been recruiting, training and supervising community volunteers who serve as court appointed special advocates and the guardian ad litem for children in court due to abuse, neglect or private guardianship. The CASA volunteer acts as the eyes and ears of the judge to help make the best decision for a safe, caring and permanent home for each child. They are currently recruiting CASA/GAL volunteers to ensure we meet the needs of every child that comes into care.
