The Bear Family McDonald's Helps Support National Night Out

Bear Family Restaurants, who own and operate Thirty-Two McDonald's in and around the area, strongly support the efforts of their local Police Departments.

"We are proud of the role we play in supporting our Local Police Departments. We have always been involved in the communities we serve, and we are happy to see these community come together for crime prevention," said McDonald's Owner-Operator David Bear.

Festivities included entertainment, food, and refreshments. Special guests The Hamburglar and Birdie attended the Elgin events, Grimace made an appearance in South Elgin and helped kids spin the Bear Family McDonald's prize wheel, while The Hamburglar also made his way to La Grange Park, Morton Grove, and Niles. Attendees enjoyed taking pictures with the McDonald's Characters who were honored to attend each event to celebrate the culmination of the year-long crime prevention efforts in each of these neighborhoods.

In addition to these character appearances, the Bear Family Restaurants donated free Vanilla Cone coupons for each of these events.

The Bear Family looks forward to continuing to be actively involved in each of these communities.
