Schaumburg police invite public to monthly meetings

The Schaumburg Police Department is inviting the public to attend its monthly "Chats with the Brass" meetings, formerly known as beat meetings.

Meetings will now begin at the earlier time of 6 p.m. but will continue to be held on the third Thursday of each month. The next meeting will be held Thursday, Aug. 15 in the Community Room of the police department, 1000 W. Schaumburg Road.

Future meetings will be held at the police department; however, there may be times when alternate locations will be used to make it more convenient for residents. Additional meeting information will be posted on the website at schaumburg.com.
