Roadwork on Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville and Gurnee
Stretches of Milwaukee Avenue through Lake County will be closed starting Monday for pavement repairs, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced. The first phase will affect Milwaukee Avenue between Route 60 and Church Street in the Libertyville area. A stretch between Washington Street and Skokie Highway in Gurnee will be worked on later. The work is expected to be done by the end of October, IDOT said.
