'Islands of Hope' host Thriving fundraiser Dinner in Chicagoland for Schools and Education in Pakistan

Islands of Hope (IOH) held a Successful and Thriving fundraiser Dinner where the audience was enthralled by Prominent sports celebrity Pakistan national cricket team Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed. The event was a great success with about 350 individuals attended the event. The wonderful fundraiser was hosted in the ballroom of Shalimar Banquet on July 21st, 2019 from 7.00 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.

'Islands of Hope' Foundation is the nonprofit organization has worked in Pakistan School to ensure as many Children receives a quality education as part of their program curriculum.

The theme of the event was "Empowering Nation with Education" in Pakistan.

It was an evening of mixed shades, the Audience includes all the ages, young, youth, elders, the sports people's business men, supporters, families, friends, and well-wishers and many people came from all social related platforms which fluctuated between somber and light, between happiness and smiles. The Program was started 7 p.m. The event was emceed by Ms. Sakina Kisat. The evening began with Tilawat E Quran. The program included dinner, speeches and past and upcoming project presentations.

The Chief Guest of the event was Pakistan national cricket team Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and the Guest of Honor was Mr. Javed Ahmed Umrani (Consul-General of Pakistan in Chicago)

Naveed Ahmed provides a complete report of past and current project throughout the power point presentations. He also highlighted that organization Islands of hope Schools provide free education along with books and uniforms to deserving people and help them to make their living good. IOH provide equal job opportunities and prefer those people who have a passion for teaching. Mr. Ahmed also mentions organization are currently opening a school in Karachi.

Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed spoke about the great potential of this organization making change in the society through education. This organization are doing brilliant work that has already been done in many places in Pakistan.

After Fundraising Completed dinner was served which was catered through a local restaurant called Usmania restaurant Devon Avenue Chicago. As the evening proceeded, Local singers enchanted the audience with her soulful voice.
