Donate School Supplies and Make a Difference in a Child's Life

From now through August 2, the Village of Mount Prospect Human Services Department will be collecting school supplies for disadvantaged families with school aged children living in Mount Prospect.

With your help, children can start the school year looking forward to learning, making friends and developing necessary life-long skills.

Collection bins are located at Village Hall (50 S. Emerson Street) the Mount Prospect Public Library (10 S. Emerson Street), the Community Connections Center (1711 W. Algonquin Road) and the Police/Fire Station (112 E. Northwest Highway).

Monetary donations will also be accepted and allocated to the purchase of needed supplies. Checks should be made payable to: Mount Prospect Emergency Food Pantry (in the check memo, please write "School Supplies"). Checks can be mailed to or dropped off at: Village of Mount Prospect, Human Services Department, 50 S. Emerson Street, Mount Prospect, IL 60056.
