First Folio Theatre will begin its summer outdoor production of "Henry V" with preview shows on Wednesday and Thursday, July 10-11, on the grounds of the Mayslake Peabody Estate, 1717 31st St. in Oakbrook Terrace. The production will continue to Aug. 18.

This production, directed by Hayley Rice, will feature Diana Coates as King Henry V.

In an effort to save his country and prove himself worthy of the crown, the brash Henry V invades France, only to find himself facing an army 10 times the size of his own at the Battle of Agincourt. Come thrill to the greatest of English battles … and see how an English King woos a French Princess.

Coates returns to First Folio where she previously played Paulina in the company's production of "The Winter's Tale." She was recently seen as Cinderella in the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and Filament Theatre tribute to Prokofiev's "Cinderella." Outside of Chicago, Coates has appeared with the Michigan Shakespeare Festival as Isabella in "Measure for Measure" and in "The Rover." Television credits include: "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago Med."
