Five minutes that can fight climate change

I used to feel powerless in the face of all the recent drastic weather and scientific warnings about climate change. But not anymore. I see that people are starting to act: millions worldwide have demonstrated to demand cuts in carbon emissions, and individual states are taking actions to reduce their local emissions.

In fact, over 1,500 Citizens' Climate Lobby volunteers traveled to Washington, D.C., recently to talk with their legislators about just this issue - a revenue-neutral carbon tax that discourages fossil fuel consumption and gives the proceeds back to families.

We citizens can still make a difference. Please call your members of Congress and ask that they support the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (H.R. 763). It is a five-minute time investment that will make you part of the solution.
