Mount Prospect Sister Cities Commission to Host Bastille Day Dinner

The Mount Prospect Sister Cities Commission is set to host a Bastille Day Dinner - La Fête Bleu Blanc Rouge - on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Old Orchard Country Club, located at 700 W. Rand Road in Mount Prospect. A complimentary cocktail hour begins at 5:00 p.m.; dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m., followed by entertainment at 7:30 p.m.

Suggested dress is summer cocktail/casual business attire, and red, white and blue is encouraged to keep with the spirit of the evening. Live musical performances will feature Tri-Tone Jazz Trio and Gypsy Jazz by Di Arte Entertainment. Tickets are $65 per person and must be purchase by June 30. The mission of the Mount Prospect Sister Cities Commission is to encourage and facilitate programs and exchanges between Mount Prospect and its sister city, Sèvres, France. Mount Prospect and Sèvres, France, officially entered into their Sister City relationship in May of 2000, when a delegation from Sèvres first visited Mount Prospect. Since then, several exchanges have taken place on individual and group levels. The Commission promotes cultural understanding through educational and entertaining programs offered to the community.
