Fridays on the Green Concert Series Returns to Mount Prospect
The Village of Mount Prospect is excited to welcome back the popular summer concert series, Fridays on the Green, with a great schedule for 2019. Concerts are held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on the Centennial Green, located outside of Village Hall at 50 S. Emerson Street. This free concert series is a great way to wrap-up the work week. Bring your friends and family and relax on the Village Green. This is a kid friendly event so the little ones are encouraged to attend. Bring blankets or chairs and settle in for some great music. Bring a picnic or pick up dinner at one of the Village's many downtown restaurants to eat on the green. You can also grab a bite before or after the concert, and enjoy hanging out in downtown Mount Prospect.
This year's musical line-up features bands performing the hits of '80s and '90s, country and more.

June 7: The Hemispheres (Soul, Motown and R&B Standards)
June 21: Suburban Cowboys (Country)
July 12: Ken Dix and the Friday Night Lawn Jockeys (Classic Rock to Current Hits)
August 2: Zydeco Voodoo (Traditional New Orleans Music and Popular Rock & Blues)
August 16: Exit 147 (Rock, Classic Rock, Pop & Top 40)
