Grace Lutheran to host 'Shipwrecked' Bible camp

Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake, celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, will be hosting the annual vacation Bible school this summer.

With the "Shipwrecked: Jesus Rescues Us" theme, children will learn how Jesus is there even when they are lonely, or when they worry, or struggle, or when they do wrong or when they're powerless.

It will be held from 6 to 8:15 p.m. Monday to Friday, June 24-28, at the church, 5N600 Hanson Road, just east of Route 47 in St. Charles. This is open to all children in the surrounding communities, from 3 years old to sixth grade. Children who attend will also learn about the church's mission project by making items for families in El Salvador.

Registration is required, so email to vbs@graceoflilylake.com or call the church at (630) 365-6715 for more information.
