Schaumburg to host blood drive June 5

The village of Schaumburg is hosting its next Community Blood Drive from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at The Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive in Schaumburg.

The blood drive is open to the public. Participating donors will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win one of several $25 Home Depot gift cards. In addition, all donors will receive one ticket voucher for any regular season Schaumburg Boomers baseball game, as well as a coupon for a pint of Culver's frozen custard.

Interested participants should call 1-877-25VITAL (1-877-258-4825) or register online at vitalant.org and use sponsor code SH98. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
