Community garage sale

Vernon Township's 11th annual community garage sale will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8, in the west parking lot of the Prairie View Train Station, 2701 Main St. The township will sell 16-foot by 17-foot spaces for $25, with proceeds benefiting the township food pantry. Crafters are welcome to participate. Applications are available at the Vernon Township building at 3050 N. Main St., Buffalo Grove or at www.vernontownship.com. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Deadline to reserve a space is May 24. Call (847) 634-4600.
