Lane closures on Milwaukee Avenue in Lake County begin May 20

Traffic on Milwaukee Avenue approaching Corporate Woods Parkway in Vernon Hills will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning Monday, May 20, weather permitting. Lane reductions approaching the work zone are needed to proceed with drainage improvements, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. The work is expected to be complete by the end of September. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through the area.
