Hanover Park | Trinity Lutheran School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support Dare to Dream and teachers classroom wish lists. Administration, Teachers, Staff members, and PTL from Trinity Lutheran School in Roselle volunteered behind the counter on Wednesday, April 24th, at the Hanover Park McDonald's located on Lake Street, where they served students and their families in a fundraiser for the School.

Michelle Ludwig, Kendall Troyke, Tom Troyke, Christy Bathje, Principal Koenig, and Pastor Rozelle did a fabulous job selling Chocolate Chip Cookies during this event that were donated by Owner-Operator Jan Nelson. The proceeds from the sale of 300 Cookies went directly to benefit the School. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated directly to Trinity Lutherans PTL which plans to use the money for the Dare to Dream Program, Classrooms needs, and teachers wish lists .

The teachers and staff members had a great time taking pictures and having conversations with the families that attended this fundraising event at McDonald's.

Jan Nelson , Owner-Operator of the Hanover Park McDonald's on Lake Street, and the Nelson Family were delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.

"McTeacher's Night is part of McDonald's larger commitment to education and other important initiatives supporting families and the local community," Jan said.

"We are proud to serve the families of the Trinity Lutheran community and through the McTeacher's Night event. In addition to helping provide financial support for our local schools, we help students feel connected to their school, their teachers and their sense of community."

"Everyone who rolled up their sleeves in support of this event" is the fabric that strengthens our community," Nelson said.
