Boys volleyball: Mundelein wins on Senior Night

Marc Rey had 6 kills and 5 blocks, and Mundelein's boys volleyball team celebrated Senior Night on Thursday by beating Grayslake Central 25-18, 28-26.

"Very exciting Senior Night," Mustangs coach George Dressen Jr. said. "We were down 17-24 in the second set. Very proud of the team."

Eric Morales added 5 kills for Mundelein (13-16).

Stevenson d. Waukegan: On Wednesday night, Gavin Meng had 10 kills, Justin Ross added eight, and Stevenson remained undefeated in the North Suburban Conference with a 26-24, 25-17 win.

John Angelos had 5 kills for Stevenson (19-5, 5-0), Samuel Epstein added 17 digs, and Will Sorenson dished out 25 assists.
