Rodon doesn't have it, Sox drop Game 1 of DH to Orioles
In his last start, Carlos Rodon didn't have it against the Tigers.
The White Sox's left-hander lasted only 3 innings and gave up 8 runs on 9 hits and and 3 hits.
The Sox's offense bailed him out and ralied to beat Detroit 12-11 Friday at Guaranteed Rate Field.
They couldn't do it again in Game 1 of a doubleheader against the Orioles Wednesday.
The White Sox did jump out to a 4-0 lead, but they fell to Baltimore 5-4.
It was another short outing for Rodon, who pitched 3.2 innings and allowed 3 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks.
Jose Abreu had an RBI double in the first inning and a run-scoring single in the third.
