Disney's executive compensation outrage

Kudos to Abigail Disney for making herself heard regarding the compensation paid to Disney CEO Bob Iger.

When the new tax plan was passed giving big business huge tax breaks, it was supposed to enable corporations to raise the salaries of everyone working for them. Instead, some companies gave one-time bonuses, others gave small salary increases to those who kept the business running every day and used the money to provide more dividends for stockholders. When a CEO is paid over 1,000 times as much as the average employee, there is something wrong with our system.

How many millions does one person need to make to feed his ego, while employees struggle to hold their families together? Minimum wage is a farce. It's time we took a good look at employee compensation, including company medical coverage.

Thank you, Ms. Disney, for having the courage to step forward on this issue. I think your grandfather would be proud.
