Join TriCity Family Services in celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month
TriCity Family Services, a trusted partner that offers counseling services and mental health programs for children, teens, families and community members throughout Central Kane County, invites the public to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
For more than 50 years, TriCity Family Services has become synonymous with mental health advocacy, providing family-based counseling for all ages and income levels. In 2018, the nonprofit provided 43,827 hours of service to 5,553 clients.
The agency specializes in family-centered counseling, which includes an evidence-centered Family-Based Treatment for Eating Disorders program. Money raised through fundraising efforts goes directly to making programs and services accessible to those who cannot afford to pay for them. By offering a sliding fee scale and scholarships, based on need, TriCity Family Services ensures that services are affordable and available to all.
