Missing Des Plaines-area teens found safe in Niles

Two teens from an unincorporated area near Des Plaines who were reported missing were located safe in Niles, police said.

The 15-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy were believed to have left Thursday night, according to the Cook County sheriff's office.

After the teens were found, the sheriff's office thanked the Niles Police Department for its assistance.
